Follow-form excess on A.M. Best “A” rated paper, available in all states. It sits over the professional and general liability coverages only, and is available on any class of business we can consider on a primary basis.
Grayson does not need to be writing the primary policy in order to write the excess layer. Place primary with another carrier and bring us in for the excess.
Our excess layer must be claims-made but we can sit excess over either an occurrence or claims-made primary form. Our excess policy follows form over the Professional Liability and General Liability coverages only.
Available excess limit depends on where the layer attaches.
The excess is available whether or not we write the primary. Available limit follows the attachment point, not who wrote the layer below.
Three things. We cannot quote without the underlying quote and specimen policy.
A copy of the application used to quote the primary. There is no separate excess application to complete.
Our excess premium is based on the primary premium, and we review the primary policy to confirm we are comfortable with the language.
With details on any claims.
